Kenneth Lin, MD
President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Lin has a background in medicine, and over 15 years of experience in investing, strategy, and corporate development. He began his professional career as a research analyst at Goldman Sachs covering a broad sector encompassing pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and life science tools. He then moved to principal investing, first at JPMorgan Partners and later at TPG, where he played a leading role in healthcare investments across sector, stage and geography. Most recently, Dr. Lin was a senior executive at Ulthera, Inc., where he led all corporate development, strategic, and capital markets activities. During his tenure at Ulthera, revenue increased from ~$40 million to over $100 million, and the company became a profitable and sustainable enterprise. Dr. Lin led the IPO and sale process that resulted in the purchase of Ulthera for $600 million, which provided a >10x return to investors. Dr. Lin received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University, where we was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He also serves as an advisor to the Dean of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine as part of the Committee to Advance Human Health.
